You can edit your account settings and profile from your account information. You can add/change your profile photo, change password, bank account information and your email address.
How do I change the email address I use for Find Rent Wear?

How to shop and rent an item

Do I need to set up an account to place an order?
You can sign up with simply with your name and email address to begin the order process. When checking out you will be required to register for an account. 
I have forgotten my password - what should I do?
Simply follow the 'Forgot your password?’ link on our Sign In page and enter your email address. You will then receive an email to reset your password. 
How do I place a rental order?
Placing an order is easy at Find-Rent-Wear. Here is how: 1.Choose a category from the top navigation menu or use the search button to explore specific items and styles.  2.Use the filters to narrow down your search. 3. Select your item and click 'Add to bag'. Once you have finished adding your items proceed to the checkout page by clicking on the shopping bag icon on the top right of the navigation menu. This will show you a summary of all your items.  4. Sign in to your account if you have not done so already. If you do not have an account, enter your name and email address to proceed. The checkout process is quick and straightforward no matter how many items you have in your shopping bag or how many renters they are sourced from, you will only need to checkout once.  5. Some items require pre approval from the store or owner. They have 24 hours to confirm your reservation. You will still have to enter your payment details and payment is only taken once the order has been confirmed. 6.Enter your delivery address and payment information to complete your rental order. You will then receive an email confirming your order.
How long is the rental period?
You can rent an item for 4 or 7 days.
Where can I find size & fit information?
Size and fit information is displayed for each item under the product description section. You can also read customer reviews to see how other women rated the item for size and fit.
How do I save favourite items?
On the product details page, click on add favourite. You can also add stores to your favourites. To view your favourite products and stores go to your dashboard and select Favourites.
How do I contact a store or product owner?
If you want to find out more about a product you can message the store or product owner. Go to the store/product owners profile which is displayed under the product description. Click on contact, write your message and click send. For your safety and privacy always communicate through the Find Rent Wear platform.
How do I find out the status of my order?
Go to your dashboard. Click on the Rentals tab. This will show your last 5 orders. Click on the order number for full details of your order. You can view older orders under 'My Orders'.
How much time does a store or product owner have to respond to my rental request?
They have 24 hours to respond to rental requests. You will be updated via email on the status of your request. If your request is confirmed your payment is processed and taken by Find Rent Wear. If your request is declined no payment is taken.
Why did my rental request get declined?
The store or product owner may want reservations on different dates or length of time. The request may also have expired, meaning the store/product owner did not respond within 24 hours.
Can i make changes to a pending rental request?
In the 'My Orders' section of your dashboard you can amend or cancel an order if it is still pending. If your order has already been dispatched you cannot make any changes or cancel it.
How do I find my rental reservation?
Go to 'My Rental Orders' on your dashboard to view your rentals.
What is instant book?
Instant book products don't require approval from the store or owner. For renters this means your booking is automatically confirmed and payment is processed. For stores and owners, if you list products as instant book you will not have to respond to every request.
Can I purchase an item I am renting?
Currently the Find Rent Wear platform only supports product rentals not purchases.
When should I make a reservation for an item?
You can make a reservation for a product up to 28 days in advance and we advise scheduling your delivery 1-2 days before you would need to wear it. This gives you enough time to make an exchange should the item not fit.

Why do you take a security deposit? 
Security deposits help cover accidental damage to items, such as a rip in a dress or spilled wine on a top. Security deposits will be calculated by taking into account the retail value of the item and the age and condition of the product.
When am i charged for my rental?
Your payment information is taken when you submit a rental request. Once the store or owner approves the request (within 24 hours) your payment method is charged. In the case of instant book products, the payment is taken when you make the booking.
Which currencies can I pay in?
Currently you are only able to pay in British Pound (GBP)
Why are all payments done through Find Rent Wear?
Completing all payments through Find Rent Wear's platform ensures your information and details are fully secure and you are protected under Find Rent Wear's terms and conditions, cancellation, refund and insurance policies. If you don't use the platform to make payments this puts you at risk of fraudulent bookings and other security issues. If you are asked to make a payment outside of the platform, please report it to Find Rent Wear. If you have made a payment outside of Find Rent Wear, let us know straight away as it could be a fraudulent transaction.

Delivery

How long will it take to receive my order? 
Once your order details are confirmed, your item(s) will be with you within 2-3 days. Once your order is on its way to you, we will send an email containing your tracking information. If you require your order urgently please contact us and we will try to accommodate. 
What are the delivery options and charges?
Delivery is via a courier service and currently we only offer a standard delivery option which takes 2-3 days from when your order is confirmed. You will be sent tracking information and an estimated delivery date. We will send you a message 1 day before to confirm the delivery day and arrange a suitable delivery time. Delivery is charged at a flat fee of £10. This means you can rent multiple items from different owners for just one delivery fee.                                                 
Which destinations do you ship to?
Currently we only ship to addresses in the United Kingdom.
Can you deliver to an office or other address?
Yes delivery is available to office or other addresses. Please note we do not deliver to PO Box addresses.
Is a signature required for delivery?
Yes a signature is required for delivery. If you are not available at the shipping address, your order can be left with a neighbour, or front desk. If these options are not available, the courier will try to deliver your order on the next business day.

Collections, Returns & Refunds

When is my item collected?
Your item is collected 4 or 7 days from the day you receive it by our courier. We will confirm a suitable collection time with you 24 hours before. Collection is free of charge.
What if the item does not fit or is different to the picture shown? 
Returning an item is an easy process. If the outfit doesn't fit or it is not what was expected contact us within 4 hours of receiving your item(s) with your order reference number and we will arrange for our courier to come and collect the item(s). You can either receive a credit note which you can use towards your next rental or a refund.
What happens if I am unable to return the item on time? 
For each day the item is not returned, the renter will pay a late fee which will be the per day rental cost of the product.
What is Find Rent Wear's refund policy?
Renters can return an item if (i) the item does not fit, (ii) is not of a satisfactory quality or (iii) is not as described. You must contact Find Rent Wear by emailing customerservice@find-rent-wear.com within 4 hours of receiving your order to be eligible for an exchange or refund. All garment tags must remain attached and the item must be returned unused. Returns that do not meet our policy will not be eligible for a credit note or refund. Should a product be kept overnight by the Renter, you authorise FIND RENT WEAR to charge your Payment Details, the Listed Rental Fee, Service Fee, plus any applicable taxes related to the product.
What is Find Rent Wear's cancellation policy?
Before an order has been prepared for dispatch by the Owner, the Renter is able to cancel it through the FIND RENT WEAR platform. Once an order has been prepared for dispatch by the Owner, the Renter will be unable to cancel the order and will have to go through the Returns process if they wish to return the item. Your order can be modified before it has been prepared for dispatch. We can change the size of your item (if available) or edit the shipping address. However, we are unable to combine orders or add products to an existing order once it has been placed. If an Owner cancels a confirmed booking, the Renter will receive a full refund of the Listed Rental Price and Renter Service Fee related to that product.
How do I return my order?
Collections are via our courier service and free of charge. Find Rent Wear will contact you 24 hours before your rental end date to schedule a suitable collection time. Once confirmed, you will receive an email with return instructions and next steps.

Damage to Items and Security Deposits

What is a security deposit?
Security deposits help cover accidental damage to items, such as a rip in a dress or spilled wine on a top. A security deposit will be added to each item that is listed on the website and is calculated based on the current retail value of the item. When an order for an item is made, the security deposit payment is taken and refunded to the renter once the item has been returned. If there is some damage made to the product, the cost of repair will be deducted from the deposit amount. If an item is damaged beyond repair or if it is not returned, the full security deposit will be taken.
How does an Owner make a claim? 
The Owner has 24 hours from when they receive the item back to make a claim on the security deposit. This will be the claim process: 1 The owner sends an email to Find-Rent-Wear with a description of the damage to the item, photos of the damage and original receipts if they have them and cost of repair (if it can be repaired). 2 We will then contact the renter and if the renter agrees to the amount we will process the payment and send it to the owner within 7 days. 3 If the renter declines or does not respond within 72 hours, we will mediate and come to an agreement with both parties. If Find-Rent-Wear decide money is owed based on the documentation and communication from both parties, we will collect the payment from the security deposit.
What if I accidentally stain or damage an item?
Accidents can sometimes happen and as a renter you are fully covered by the security deposit. Costs of any minor damage or stains will be deducted from the security deposit. However, significant damage beyond repair or not returning the item will result in the full security deposit being taken.

Listing Items on Find Rent Wear

How do I list an item?
Listing an item on Find-Rent-Wear is easy: 1 Click on List an Item in the top navigation menu 2 Fill out all the required information about your item 3 Take photos and click on upload 4 Check all the details are correct and click submit We will then review the information and if approved your item will be listed on the website within 24 hours. For further information, visit the 'How it Works' page.
What items can I list? 
You can list the following: Clothing - Dresses, Tops, Skirts, Coats, Jackets, Pants, and Knitwear Shoes Bags Accessories - Scarves, Hats, Gloves, Sunglasses, Belts, Jewellery (no earrings)
How is the rental price calculated? 
We suggest a 4 day rental price based on 10% of the retail value of the item. However what price you set is entirely up to you.
What are active and inactive listings?
Active listings are products you have added that are displayed on the FIND RENT WEAR Platform for Renters to book, Inactive listings are products you have added but you have chosen for them not to be displayed on the FIND RENT WEAR Platform. You can make your products active or inactive by clicking on 'My Products' in the Dashboard and clicking on the pause button of your product. Your active and inactive listings are shown under the relevant tabs.

Collection and Returns

How are my items collected from me? 
You can have your items collected by courier or you can drop it off at your nearest Collectplus drop off point. Once you have approved a booking, FIND RENT WEAR will contact you to arrange the collection.
When will my items be returned? 
Your item will be returned after the 4 or 7 day rental period. When a booking is confirmed you will receive an email with a link to book the return of your item.

Who is responsible for the dry cleaning?
All items must be rented out clean and ready to wear and cleaning will be the responsibility of the owner not the renter. However when an item is returned by the renter it must be in a satisfactory condition.

Owner Payments

How do I get paid? 
Find Rent Wear will release your payment around 24 hours after the renter has received your item. Payments are made via bank transfers and processing time is usually around 3 days. To add your bank details, go to account information on your dashboard and payout details. You can view your transaction history under 'My Wallet' in the dashboard.
What fee do FIND RENT WEAR take? 
FIND RENT WEAR takes a 20% service fee.

Vouchers and Credits

How do I use a voucher code?
If you have a Find Rent Wear voucher code you can use it towards a rental. To use your voucher, click on 'Have a Voucher' on the checkout page, enter your voucher code and click Apply. The voucher code can be applied towards any rental order with a subtotal minimum of £50.
Why is my voucher code not working?
Here are a few reasons why your voucher code may not be working: The voucher code has expired The order does not meet minimum value requirements The codes are case sensitive - double check the email to ensure you are entering the correct code Only one voucher code can be used per order If you are still having issues please contact our customer service team for further assistance.
How do i earn credit from referring a friend to Find Rent Wear?
To earn credit send a referral link (post link) to your friends. When a friend uses that link to join Find Rent Wear, they will receive a voucher code they can use towards their first rental order of £50 or more. When they have completed their first qualifying rental, you will earn £5 credit to spend towards your next qualifying rental order of £50 or more. Voucher codes expire one year from the date they are issued.

Can I cancel my order?
